2026 PRESIDENT’S AWARDS
Nominations for the National GC Network’s 2026 President’s Awards are open until October 19, 2026 5pm ET, 2pm PT.
These peer-adjudicated awards recognize two legal professionals who are racialized or Indigenous, for their remarkable impact or service to advance Truth and Reconciliation and equity, diversity and inclusion. This year, the NGCN has chosen to recognize two eligible persons, one individual as 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 and one individual as a 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.
Congratulations to our past winners, Lawrence Conmigo and Husein Panju!
The National GC Network is extremely disappointed with The Advocates’ Society's (TAS) decision to rescind the invitation to Tareq Hadhad for a keynote speech at TAS' End-of-Term Dinner and has shared a letter with TAS' Board of Directors.
